Hi Proactive221, hope you're doing well. I’m Ian, and I’m happy to help you today.

Your battery may be worn out or damaged. You can check the battery health by running a battery report. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Press Windows + R key and type CMD then press Enter.
    2. Type powercfg /batteryreport and press Enter.
    3. A report will be generated and saved in your user folder. You can open it with any web browser.
    4. Look for the Design Capacity and Full Charge Capacity values. If the Full Charge Capacity is much lower than the Design Capacity, it means your battery has degraded over time and may need to be replaced.

It is also possible that this is a connection issue between the laptop and the battery.

Better to consult a technician or ASUS service center to check the hardware issue that you are encountering.

This is a user-to-user support forum and I am a fellow user.

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you need anything else.

I suspect issues on the charging port or capacitors motherboard, so take your laptop nearest service center

Yes, it means that there is an intermittent issue between your battery and laptop. As I mentioned, it is possible is a connection issue between the two. Better for it to be checked by a technician in this case since all the possible troubleshooting were been made except for the hardware parts.
