Yes, you can restart it. Componen Manager checks is there anything else components which should be re-installed or installed during role add.

Hi,
Can I restart "SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER" service on primary server.
The reason why I need to restart this service is that I have remove all of the roles from an server (Not primary) but I still see Component server Role
I have check reg on primary server
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Components\SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER\Component Servers
and I dont see the server which i'm working on.
If I restart the "SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER" service during working hours or it can be done anytime as it doesnt effect the sccm.
