Why won't my PC detect LG external monitor?

I have an LG 27md5kl external monitor. It has one thunderbolt port and three usb-c ports. When I use the provided thunderbolt cable with my ASUS Q539ZD the monitor doesn't turn on and instead only slow charges my computer. It doesn't detect any monitor in my display settings. My pc has two thunderbolt 4 ports so it should be compatible

I have updated the drivers, did a windows update, and a hard reset with no luck. Are their any other solutions to this issue? The monitor works fine with my iPad pro 3rd gen so I think it's a pc issue

There is a new version of the graphics card on the Intel website released on 9/18/2023. Downloading and installing the latest version of the driver should fix this problem. You can use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant from this link to install the latest version of the graphics driver and all other Intel drivers on your laptop.
