2023-10-22T18:02:05+00:00 Ok so that didn't work very well. so what I did was went through the steps in that link, then after hitting (don't ask again on this device) I opened Minecraft again. I asked me to log in again so I did thinking it was the last time. I then logged out and opened it again.....same thing. it once again asked me to log in with no option to stay in. I MAY have found a solution though. On the security page that the steps send me to, there is an option that says "passwordless account". I set that up and then connected my phones Microsoft authenticator app to it. with the authenticator app I now logged in once and it logs me in every time I open it. the only problem I get now is a repeating message that spams on the upper right of the screen saying "We were unable to verify what products you own. Please check your internet connection.", but I can deal with that.
The only thing that's confusing now is that at no point did the keep me logged in option appear. Also there doesn't seem to be an option to add my computer as a trusted device. i had to use my phones app to do this.
For the TLDR people. use your phones Microsoft Authenticator app with the "passwordless account" option. you find that option if you go through the steps in the link the above post gave me. god that was annoying.

The first option is to make sure you click on the box at the bottom of the log in page that says “Remember me” until the box turns green. The launcher should automatically remember your account the next time you open it.
Another option is to change your password, in case someone else is using your account and closing your session. If you are using multiple devices, then the login will only stay on the last device that you've used since it will close the sessions from the other devices.

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you need anything else.

See the link below for the steps.
