Why does my FileExplorer window opens extremly small?

Hello,

since I upgraded my monitor from 27 inch to 32 inch the fileexplorer window opens up extremly small, unless I go to preferences-display and change the resolution from 125% to 150% (recommended), then restart the explorer and change it back to 125%.

This procedure is extremly annoying and I would be gratefull for any helpful recommendations. My System is all up to date and I wasnt yet ablet to find any useful information about this problem apart from using 150% scaling which looks weird on a such a big screen.

I attached two images one is before doing the steps I just discribed and afterwards.

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    I have seen a couple oof people reporting this same problem, it may be a bug in Windows.

    Open File Explorer, then resize the File Explorer window to your preferred size, then press Ctrl and click the Close button on the File Explorer window, when you open it again, does it keep that size you set or does it revert to the small window in the middle of the screen?

    Thank you for that information.

    Because other people are reporting the same problem, this is a bug in a recent update, the best option is to report this bug to their developers on the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) so they can investigate this bug and then put out a patch for this bug.

    Hey Dave,

    thanks for the reply. Tried that option already and windows doesnt remember size as well as position. It always opens at the same location with the same size. I nearly tried everything you can find when you google the problem and the problem only appers on FileExplorer
