I have an issue with my hp laptop elitebook x360 , the touchpad isn't working and the caplock key works fine but its light is never turned off even when the laptop is shut down. I tried reseting the system, updating the driver , enabling touchpad everything!!! I hope someone can help me , I am using an external mouse at the moment but I really want to fix the touchpad. Thank you.

Hi Malak, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand the frustration you're facing with your HP EliteBook x360 touchpad issue. It's quite common for touchpads to accidentally get disabled using key combinations. On HP laptops, the FN key combined with specific function keys can control features like the touchpad. Please try pressing the FN key along with the corresponding function key to enable your touchpad again.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, could you please let me know when the issue started and whether you've already updated your driver from the HP support page for your model?

Let's work together to get your touchpad functioning smoothly.

    John J.D.
