WER Fault: WerFault.exe - Application Error

The instruction at 0x00007FFB75B5B52F referenced memory at

0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program

I bought this Dell optiplex 9000 refurbished on Amazon and it has Windows 10 pro.

It ran fine for 3 days. The computer was on this morning and we had a power outage for about 5 hours. When I tried to start up the computer I get this application error message. When I click okay like it says, the error message pops right back up.

I shut it down and restarted it several times and I keep getting the same message. I've tried pressing the Windows + X button and Windows + R button, but it is ineffective the screen just displays the same application error message. I do not know much about computers in fact all I've ever had was a Chromebook before this. I hope this is an easy fix. It just so happens I start a new work from home job tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. and this computer has been displaying this message since the power came back on this afternoon. I have no idea what to do. I hope someone can please help me fast.

Thanks, DR.

Hello there, I'm Gopal an Independent Advisor. I will try my best to help you.

This Application error often implies that the allotted physical memory was unable to read the contents of a program. In order to fix this issue please try the below steps

Step 1: Run the memory diagnostic tool

    • Press Windows key + R then type in mdsched.exe hit OK then restart the device.

Step 2: Run SFC and DISM Tools

    • Type the Command Prompt in the search box of Windows. Right-click it and choose Run as administrator to continue.
    • In the command prompt type the below command and hit Enter to continue.

    sfc /scannow

    • Please do not close the command line window until you see the message verification is 100% completed.

After that, type the following commands and hit Enter to continue.

    DISM /online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

When it is finished, restart the computer and try again to update Windows to see if the error still occurs.

If the issue persists, please try to perform the clean boot option
