How can i get the sound recorder file location so that it is downloaded to one drive?

It seems crazy that you cannot move the location to record. What is the reason for this? I assume there is one and that MS has rational reasons for what it does, when superficially it looks like a sloppy ill thoughtout design creeping into MS. I hope I am wrong.

    Hi,

    I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

    The Sounds Recordings folder is always set to be under the Documents folder, if you enable the OneDrive backup feature, it will change the Documents folder location to the OneDrive folder and will sync all files inside, including the Sound Recordings folder.

    Unfortunately, the Sound Recorder application does not offer the option to change the recording location.

    You will not change the OneDrive folder location, but the Documents folder location.

    Right-click the OneDrive icon on the right side of the taskbar > Settings > Sync and Backup > Manage Backup > Turn on the "Documents" option.

    This will sync the whole Documents folder, including everything in there.
