What mouse settings can the MS Designer Bluetooth Desktop Keyboard and Mouse (7N9-00001) handle?

For years I have used the MS Wireless Desktop 850 with my Windows systems. This allows me to set the middle button to do a double click. Does the Designer Bluetooth Desktop (7N9-00001) offer the same functionality? If so, how is this done as I note from other messages that the Mouse and Keyboard Center does not handle this product.

Many thanks,

Bill

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

The MS Designer Bluetooth Desktop Keyboard and Mouse (7N9-00001) can handle basic mouse settings such as adjusting the pointer speed, enabling or disabling the option to automatically move the pointer to the default button in a dialog box, and adjusting the scroll speed. However, it does not offer the option to set the middle button to perform a double click.

To modify these settings, you can go to the Windows settings by following these steps:

    1. Open the Start menu and go to Settings.
    2. Click on Devices.
    3. In the left sidebar, select Mouse.
    4. Here, you can adjust the mouse pointer speed, enable or disable the option to automatically move the pointer to the default button in a dialog box, and adjust the scroll speed.

For more detailed information, you can refer to the user manual of the Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Desktop (7N9-00001).

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.

    Best regards
