Freeze Or Pause My Screen

Hello All!, So I was wondering if there is any possible way I can freeze or pause my screen for a few moments so I can trace an image on paper. Like putting my paper physically on my laptop screen and tracing it without the computer doing anything but just staying still while I trace? If there is I'd love to know how. So if you have a solution please share with me how.

    Hi , Veda219.

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

Well you can take a screenshot of your screen and paste it in paint and put it full screen so you can make sure you put the paper to track what you want.

Press the PrtSC key will take a picture of your screen will have the option saved and open after pressing this key.

    Hope this helps.

Ok so I just found out one way to accomplish this-like if you want to trace an image-is to copy the thing you want (right click image and press copy) to trace, go onto a new google slides, paste (either ctrl v or press edit in the top left corner and find paste) , double click image to narrow it down to the part you want to crop it or fit it to your screen, press present and then you can trace. Now, if the size doesn't work then just change it on your slides and try again. Hope this helps!

Hi there ,,I faced that same kind of problem . So I found out what is best in that situation . here is the process:

    1. tap start and type Device manager 2. then you will find an option that says human interface devices ,, double click there 3. you will see HID compliant touch screen ,, then click the right button of your mouse or touch pad
    2. Lastly click the option called Disable device
and you are done ,,, you can follow the same process to enable touch screen on your laptop .

    Hope this helps !
