When i search something on any browser (chrome, microsoft edge, firefox) There's some Russian characters instead of Turkish special characters. (i,ç, ş, ğ, ü, ö) I already tried changing the language settings and region setting i didn't understand why it's happening. Its only happening on Turkish websites or Google interface.

    Fixed!

After several attempts to resolve the issue, I decided to take a different approach. I opened the 'inspect' feature in Chrome and discovered that the font used to display the search page was Arial. I manually changed it to a different font, and the problem appeared to disappear. This indicated that there might have been an issue with my Arial font. I attempted to restore the default font settings by going to Font settings, but it was unsuccessful. Then, I tried to delete the Arial font, but Windows did not allow it. Finally, I manually copied the Arial font from another unaffected computer and installed it one by one. After restarting, everything appeared to be fixed.

    Hello,

Finally I found a single thread of the same issue. For a couple of months I'm experiencing the same problem.

    I'll try to explain more:

Any special characters like Turkish (mentioned above), German (ä, ö, ü and ß) or Lithuanian (ą, č, ę, ė, į, š, ų, ū, ž) are displayed as some crooked Cyrillic (russian) characters in any browsers (Chrome, Opera, Edge) search webpage interface. But when you open a webpage, those special characters are displayed correctly. When I copy those Cyrillic characters and paste them in some text box, word, notepad it appears as it should, not anymore wrong.

Once, my Outlook was affected as well and my signatures special characters became empty rectangles with question marks.

    Currently Windows 11 version: 22H2

I've tried multiple times to uninstall and reinstall languages, keyboards, changing unicode settings, updatings fonts, deleting fonts cache, scanning for corrupted files, etc. Nothing worked at all.

    EDIT: Included a screenshot

Hello, thank you for your response.

Kindly also make sure your system is running the latest version.

    1. To verify, just press the Windows key + R to open the run tab
    2. Type in "winver" and hit enter.

If it does not show version 22H2, kindly install the latest version through the Windows update assistant.

If it is up to date, it would be best to update and reinstall the keyboard driver.

Press Windows + X, and select Device Manager.

Under Device Manager, right-click on your keyboard device/driver and select Update driver.

    Follow on-screen instructions.

If it says "The best driver is already installed" proceed with reinstalling it. Right-click the driver again and choose to uninstall the driver. Restart the system for it to reinstall the driver again.

I hope it helps. Feel free to reply if you still need further assistance, and I'll be more than happy to assist you.
