Ive been trying to play Titanic Honor and Glory but it keeps saying "DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.". I use a Windows 10.

    Hi,

I understand the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will be more than happy to assist you!

Please follow the below steps and check again after:You'll need to enable hidden files to see the AppData folder and then go to the below folder

    1- Go to C:\Users[your_user_name] > AppData\Local[Game_name]\Saved\Config\

2 - Open the file GameUserSettings.ini with Notepad or any other editor.

3- Find the string m_enableDX12=True and delete it.

    4- Save your changes.

    5- Run the game again.

Hope this helps. Waiting for your feedback!

    Best,

    Mohamed

    Hi Mohamed,

I can't seem to find the folder from the first step. I presume it has been renamed or doesn't exist. I am not sure if I have done the steps wrong. Thank you for helping me.

Tried this and get all the way to the “config” file, but there is not a “GameUserSettings.ini”

All I see is a folder called CrashReportClient

Hi PersonThatExistsAgain, hope you're doing well. I’m Ian, and I’m happy to help you today.

The issue you're encountering is due to the game using DX12 by default, which may not be supported on your specific hardware or GPU.

You can try running the game without using DX12. Instead of running the game as TitanicHonor.exe -dx12, you can try running it as TitanicHonor.exe -d3d11. This command will force the game to use DirectX 11 instead of DX12. You can also just run is as TitanicHonor.exe.

This is a user-to-user support forum and I am a fellow user.

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you need anything else.

I am gaving the same problem.

This game is NOT by intalaion. you have an .exe file that executes the game.

I also have DirectX 12. All my drivers are up to date.

And tjis path C:\Users[your_user_name] > AppData\Local[Game_name]\Saved\Config\ does NOT exist, since is not a intall game.

    How to solve this Microsoft?
