When i plug my Xbox controller into my pc with a wired connection the controller just blinks.

It was working fine a few weeks ago all of a sudden I've tried and the controller vibrates when I plug it in but when I hold down the power button it just blinks while using a wired connection.

    There might be a variety of causes for your Xbox controller to flash, such as a low battery, a pairing problem, a hardware problem, etc.

    *If the Xbox controller is flashing slowly, it may not have enough battery life or not connected properly. Try unplugging and then replugging your Xbox controller.

    *Use a Different USB Cable and see if it connected properly.

    *Check if the device is connected properly on the device manager and update the driver. Open device manager > Look for the "Xbox peripherals" category > Find the controller in that category > Right click on it > Update Driver > Scan online automatically > Wait for update to finish.
