How to remove a work or school account from my device?

I've tried multiple solutions but none have worked.

I had a friend use my laptop and they put their account in, this was long ago and they've left the organization so now I'm trying to remove the account but nothing seems to be working.

There isn't a 'remove' button under account settings, I've asked for the password so I have access to said account but I can't seem to remove it no matter what I try.

Any help?

    It is under "accounts used by other apps" in Accounts > Emails & accounts

    Open the Settings App.

    Go to Accounts.

    Select Your Info, is the work account listed there?

    2

    Select Emails and Accounts, is the work account listed there?

    3

    Select Access Work or School, is the work account listed there?
