How many cores does Windows 11 Pro for Workstations support?
Hello everybody,
I can find the CPU, Core and RAM limit for Windows 11 Pro but I cant find this information for the Workstation version.
Windows 11 Pro
- 2TB RAM limit.
- Supports two CPUs.
- 128 core limit.
Workstation?

Thanks for the reply.
I couldn't find this on the Win11 pages at the store.
I plan on getting a dual Epyc system and depending on how many cores Win11 can support will determine which SKU I get.

Windows 11 Professional Workstation Edition supports up to 4 CPUs, 256 cores and 6TB of RAM.
Windows 11 Pro also supports 256 cores instead of 128. But it only supports 2 CPUs.
