Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth drivers install

Hello, I have a Toshiba laptop from 2011 and am using it every day. I'm using a new SSD. The problem I'm facing is that the bluetooth seems to function properly if I connect directly to my phone or speaker, but all apps which need bluetooth I tried, end up with an error saying: Bluetooth Hardware error. I already tried to fix it with windows updates and even installed a clean windows image, but to no avail. I can't seem to find anything related to my product on Toshiba's website neither. Somehow I managed to run the pc from the old (original) Hard Drive (very slow), and bluetooth seems to work properly there. I was wondering if it is possible to port the drivers from the old HDD to my SSD.

Bluetooth adapter: Qualcomm Atheros AR9002WB-1NG Wireless Network Adapter
Computer: Toshiba Satellite C660 - 2QZ
info source: CCleaner Speccy and labels on pc

Thanks

    Hello, thanks for the reply,
On ssd the driver version is 10.0.1.7 with date 18/05/2016. For the values in the detail page, see screenshot

for the HDD: it seems as everything is the same as on the ssd

    Hi,

Can you do the following :

In the Device Manager double-click the Bluetooth adapter > Driver

What is the "Driver Version" ?

Then click on the "Details" tab, then choose "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu under "Property".

    What is listed under "Value"

If possible can you obtain the Driver Version from the old HDD.

    Can you try the following:

Start > type services and click on the Services app

In the right window right-click the "Bluetooth Support Service" and select "Start" to start the service.

If this service is already started select "Restart" to restart the service.
