That is very strange, if thee was no pre-installed OEM Windows licence, that will mean you will need to purchase a Windows licence later to activate it.

With regards to the network problem, you need to go to the support page for that device on the manufactures website, using a device with Internet access, download the installers for the network cards, then transfer them to your new device and install them/

the button to reset to default for me was F9 i pressed it selected ok

then when exiting bios i selected save and exit

and it still says "network media is not present, retrying in... " also says default boot device missing or boot failed.

when i get to select a boot device it only shows the pxe network(probably the network from the store or something.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The 'Media Not Present' error usually indicate the drive the PC is set to boot from is not connected to the PC, that is not normal.

Boot the device into BIOS (usually by pressing the F2 key on the manufacturers logo screen when you start the device)

Find the option to restore BIOS defaults and apply that

Save those settings and restart the device, does it boot into Windows?

That indicates the device is trying to boot from a network drive, go back into BIOS, on the boot tab, do you see the option to set the internal drive as the default boot deice?

If not, please provide a photo of each of the tabs in your BIOS, so I can see all available settings.
