I have tried on 3 different laptops (Dell Latitude E6420, Asus Tuf FX505DY, Lenovo IdeaPad 3) none of the the laptops have m.2 b key port so i connect the modem with a usb 3.0 to m.2 adapter , on device manager and other panel it seems ok but i can't connect to it.

Another thing that i have tried is to flash a new firmware but i don't know how (see photos)

Does anyone has an idea if this is even posible.

    Hi,

I've encountered the same issues with the Fibocom L860Gl it seems that these modem modules are made specifically for certain Lenovo and HP laptop models. But luckily after doing a lot of research I ended up with only one solution to get them connecting to the internet. I see that you've installed all the right firmware using intel flash tool so what you need to do next is use dial up to connect to the internet. check out this tutorial video and just follow the steps.

and if you not sure if you installed the firmware correctly here's the tutorial I used.

I have done that this is why in device manager the drivers appear to be ok.
