Do I need to install display driver.

Recently I got an issue (task bar with Villot color and mark on display) with my display so just replaced my display.

My model was having only HD display. i just replaced with Full hd .For a better view and less strain for my eyes.

Just replaced with full hd with same parts
but i think iam seeing the display as some different
Do i need to install any extra driver for the display

    Usually, it is not necessary to install monitor/display drivers. Only have your graphics drivers updated.

    But if your new display came with a DVD with the driver, you can install it just in case. Or you can download the driver from the support area of the monitor manufacturer's website.

    It's normal for the screen to look strange when changing displays. It's happened to me several times. This often occurs due to differences in the technology used on the new screen.

    Thanks for the clarification.

    You don't need to install any additional drivers. Only the graphics driver will be enough in your case.

    In the screenshot you left in your original question, I didn't notice any anomalies.

    No i didn't got any DVD with they just replaced the lcd panel of my laptop.
