My Logitech MX Keys and MX Master 3S Do Not Auto-Connect

Hi. I recently built a new PC. Everything's working fine, except for a couple of things:

  1. My Logitech MX Keys and MX Master 3S wireless keyboard and mouse do not auto-connect to the computer when I boot the device. I have to manually connect them instead each time. I also use a wireless neckband (Oppo Enco M32), which has no issues connecting to the same computer. I dug into Bluetooth advanced options and enabled the "Automatic" setting as advised here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/bluetooth-devices-doesnt-auto-connect/f6aa5312-58d5-42db-8d65-936a8b1ca348 and tried all the other workarounds suggested.
  2. I am using Windows 11 Pro. It's up-to-date, except for trouble installing this: 2023-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5028851). I followed the instructions shared here to set that right https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-11-cumulative-update-not-downloading-and/64eaf06c-d296-41d8-ac48-cc5d9b45c0e0 but to no avail.

What could be wrong? Is the 2nd issue somehow related to the above issue?

Kindly help. I am clueless.

I contacted Logitech and after 3 weeks of trying to get answers, they told me the MX Master 3S firmware is defective and they don't know when it will be fixed. SAD.

    I solve it.

Hello everyone. I had the same problem, I looked for solutions and landed here. After reading everything and seeing that there was no solution, I thought about returning to Windows 10 Pro, but I made one last attempt.

The solution is to hold down the Easy-Switch, yes that button at the bottom of the mouse. It is pressed for several seconds until the number of the Easy-Switch we are in flashes (normally number 1). Then you can pair Windows 11 Bluetooth with the mouse.

    Greetings.

    Hi Lucy W.

I tried all the possible fixes you suggested but to no avail.

The only thing that's left for me to do is reinstall the OS.

Should I go ahead and do that?

And also should I talk to Logitech since I am facing the Bluetooth auto-connect issue only with the Keys and the Master 3S?

    Thanks for your help.
