playing games in 4:3 forcefully moves other windows on my 2nd monitor

So, when I try and play CS:GO for example in 4:3 stretched and in fullscreen, it causes any window I have on my 2nd monitor to move half way off-screen. My 2nd monitor is on the right. For example, if I have firefox maximized on my 2nd monitor so I can watch a video, as soon as I open CS:GO it moves off screen half way to the right. So if I really want to watch that video, I have to tab out again, and move the window half way across my main monitor to the left to try and compensate, and its super annoying.

Hello I found the solution for me and I'm using windows 10, even with windows 11 it works as well as tested by my friend. Just go to taskbar settings > scroll down to multiple displays > off and on the "SHOW TASKBAR ON ALL DISPLAYS". It worked out for me and my friend I hope this works for you too!

Hello! My name is Mostafa; I will assist you today.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The only solution is to run the game in windowed mode and move it to any monitor you want, and adjust the size to full screen with Mosue.

I hope this help; let me know if you have more questions. Thank you.

Sadly, this isn't an option. 90% of professional players of Counter-Strike players use a non-native aspect ratio such as 4:3, 16:10. Using borderless or windowed just doesn't cut it when you're trying to make the game as responsive as possible. Is the only option really to use Windows 10? I've been using Windows 11 for around a year, and it has never been fixed yet.

I understand that using borderless or windowed mode is not your option. However, you can use a third-party tool like Dual Monitor Tools. This tool allows you to lock the position of your windows on your second monitor. You also can try to use a different aspect ratio that doesn’t cause this issue.
