Logi Options+ not waking up out from 'sleep mode' on my PC

Hi

Whenever I wake up my PC out from 'sleep mode' the Logi Options+ software doesn't seem to wake up itself. The MX Master 3 Mouse (via bluetooth) & MX Keys S (via logi bolt USB receiver) are physically working, but the actual customizations I have assigned for both devices with Logi Options+ are not. This is especially annoying for the MX Master 3 Mouse because of the pointer speed I have configured.

I try manually launching Logi Options+ by clicking on the shortcut located on my Desktop. This is the screenshot I receive when doing just that:

Hi I'm having the same issue. It is very annoying. I believe it is an issue with the way Windows loads background processes after sleep, as I have the same issue with my Stream Deck.

Both software/hardware issues (Logitech & Stream Deck) work fine if I open their respective apps after a restart, but unless I do that the normal functionality of the hardware does not work.

Have you gotten anywhere with your issue?

    Hi NotLenny

We tested the software on a PC running Windows 11, and in our tests the software launched normally after sleep.

With the screenshot you shared, your computer's sleep mode should normally. It will not turn logi option+ off. When you wake up your computer from sleep, in the task manager , is logi option+ working in the background? Please open the task manager after sleep and check if logi option+ is working in the background.

Do you have any third-party protection software installed on your computer? Please uninstall all third-party protection software. Third-party software protection software has higher privileges and may close your application.

    Exclude interference from third-party software.

Interference from third party software may be causing the problem.I recommend trying a clean boot which starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It can be used to determine whether a background service or program is interfering or causing a problem.

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by-step.

If the problem does not appear after a clean start, the error report is related to third party software.

With the above steps, we can troubleshoot the problem in terms of interference from three party programmes, user profile restrictions. Please share with me if there is any progress.

We look forward to your reply.

    Dear NotLenny

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I understand that logi option+ does not start automatically after waking up from sleep mode.

I understand your concerns and will do my best to assist you. However, I need more information to accurately identify and solve the problem. If possible, could you please provide the following information with me:

    • Firstly I need to confirm with you the sleep mode in your computer.
    1. Type CMD in the search and run it as administrator.
    2. Type the command, and then type.
        powercfg /A

    3. This command allows you to check if your computer is in sleep mode. Please share the screenshot of the result with me.
    • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software?
    • Could you let me know the specific system version? Please check it (you can display it by pressing the Win key + R key, and entering "winver", then Enter), and only send the relevant information without PII in the next reply.
    • Has the problem been occurring since you started using the software? Try using logi option and logitech G hub to see if it behaves the same way.

Please share the information with me as this will determine our next steps.

We look forward to your reply.
