I'm having problems with Adobe Lightroom v13 and "lens blur" A message comes up saying "There was an unexpected error and your request could not be completed".

I've updated the Lenovo bios driver another thing is when i go into Photoshop's most recent update Camera Raw says "unable to load lens blur estimation model" .

it's just annoying when there are loads of vlogs on YouTube saying how brilliant lens blur is and i can't use it is it my machine or the program that's still being worked on any help would be great.

My graphics card is an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U 2.30 GHz with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

The issue you're experiencing with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop might be related to software or hardware compatibility, or it could be a bug in the Adobe application itself. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Update Your Graphics Drivers

Ensure your AMD Radeon Vega Mobile graphics driver is up-to-date. You can download the latest drivers from AMD's official website: https://www.amd.com/en/support

Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

    2. Update Adobe Software

Make sure both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop are updated to their latest versions. You can do this through the Creative Cloud desktop app.

    3. Change Performance Preferences

In Photoshop, go to Edit > Preferences > Performance and ensure that "Use Graphics Processor" is checked. If it's already checked, try unchecking it, restarting Photoshop, then rechecking it and restarting again.

In Lightroom, go to Edit > Preferences > Performance and check "Use Graphics Processor". If issues continue, uncheck this option.

    4. Reset Preferences

Try resetting your preferences in both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop:

    • For Lightroom: Hold down Alt + Shift when starting Lightroom.
    • For Photoshop: Hold down Alt + Control + Shift when starting Photoshop.

A dialog box will ask if you want to delete the settings file; select Yes.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.

    Best regards
