RAM Definition - What is RAM? (techterms.com)
What is showing when you check it? I have 64 GB and it's not all in use. It's there when needed.

Hello, recently I have noticed I have not been using fully my physical ram. In total i have 16GB, but actually i am using only upto 8GB. I would like to change that number to at least 12-14GB, or to fully use my 16GB RAM.

Would appreciate help and how to manage to change this, thanks.

thanks. :D
Any application you run will use as much memory as it needs. Do not worry that none of them are using your full installed amount. More memory means more applications can run simultaneously without lack of memory problems. If you run a high end video editor or image manipulation software you'll find they'll use a lot more memory and you'll be glad you have so much.
