Hi Sibil,
Thank you for the screenshot.
I see. Let us first check if the Windows Audio service is running. Please check the steps below:
- Click on the Windows button and type services.msc > Open it.
- Find Windows Audio service and right-click on it > go to General tab and make sure the below things are set for it:
a) Startup type: Automatic
b) Service status: Running.
If that didn't work, please follow the below steps to roll-back the driver update:
- Open Device Manager as admin > Go to Sound, video, etc > Right-click on the Realtek > Update driver.
- Choose Browse My Computer for drivers.
- Check the box for Show compatible hardware > Choose the Realtek High Definition Audio or whichever is the most relevant to your sound card > Choose Next.
- Restart your computer and see how it goes.
If the issue still persists, please consider running the troubleshooter:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix...
If none of the above worked, that could possibly mean that your computer's sound card if defective and that could be a hardware issue as you already have done the clean installation of Windows and the issue still persists.
Thank you.
