The power & battery settings won't open when going to Settings >System > power & battery. The same thing happens when I right click the battery icon (power & sleep settings) in the sys tray.

Снова включите «Службу датчиков» в Службах. Это мгновенно исправляет ситуацию. Новое обновление отключило эту службу по какой-то глупой причине. Наслаждаться! 👍

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

    Expand the Batteries section

For each device in that section:

    Right click and choose Disable

Wait a couple of seconds and right click and choose Enable

    Close Device Manager

    2

Open Command Prompt, then run this command to open the Power Troubleshooter and run that

    msdt.exe -id PowerDiagnostic

    3

Then check if you can open the Power and Battery section in the Settings app.

As Илья Богданчиков stated, turning on the SensorService solved the problem immediately. It was disabled when I checked the services. I changed its property to automatic, and also right click, started the service.

    Thanks for this information.
