In Realtek Audio Console why doesn't the option to select Headphones (with Microphone) pop up?

I have been trying to fix my new headset for the past month, but sadly no luck yet, so that's why I'm here. The issue is that whenever I plug in the headset into my laptop (Jack) the microphone doesn't work, but the audio does. I've tried putting my microphone jack in separately but it didn't work neither, I think it's because the laptop thinks it's an audio jack or something. I've been searching for tutorials on Youtube on how to fix it, and there was one video where it told me to go to the Realtek Audio Console and so I did, but whenever I go into the Device Advanced Settings it only shows ANALOG with Headphones, and there's no pop up thingy to make me able to select different options.

Here's an image:

And here's the image of the tutorial video I found:

So the tutorial has different options to go through, but I don't have it, please help!

The headset appears to have USB connectivity, have you tried that?

I have a wired headset with a wired audio plug, 4 black rings, When I plug it in, I get the popup below. This is a Windows 10 Dell system but the Realtek

components appear to be the same. And you can see the MaxxAudioPro is responsible for the window.

In the pop-up window, I cannot select both the Mic and Headset and the microphone does not appear to work.

Also note the check box about not showing the dialog again. If that had been checked, you may need to remove and reinstall the Realtek drivers.

    In addition....

It appears that your headset is not being detected by your PC, either due to a wire problem or a loose detachable microphone. I believe this is the case because your default playback is set to your laptop's speakers. It's worth noting that in your Realtek Audio Console, 'Headphones' is not listed under Playback Devices, and 'Microphone' is not listed under Recording Devices.

    It look similar to this:

Hi Tom, Thank you for providing the screenshots.

Based on the information and the absence of the headset in the Realtek Audio Console, it seems the headset is not being detected properly by the PC. This could be due to a wiring issue or a loose detachable microphone.

Given this, I recommend trying the following steps:

    Check Headset Connections:

    > Ensure the headset's connections (especially the detachable microphone) are securely plugged.

    Test with Another Device:

    > Try using the headset with another device, like a smartphone, to see if the microphone functions properly there. This will help identify if the issue is with the headset itself.

    Test with Another Headset:

    > If possible, test a different headset on your PC to see if it gets properly detected and the microphone works.

If the issue persists even with another headset or the headset works on another device, there may be a compatibility or driver issue on your laptop. In that case, further troubleshooting or driver updates directly from your PC manufacturer's support website may be needed.

Also, here's a new information I've figured out, when I plugged in the headset it uses the Realtek audio that my laptop uses, but my microphone on the headset doesn't work, but on the laptop it works, it might be that my laptop uses the built-in microphone instead of the headset's microphone.

Whenever I plug in the headset's jacks the audio on it works perfectly, it's just the microphone that has the problem.

    Sincerely,
    Tom.

It should be understood that some systems have a separate utility to pick up plug-in connections. Dell does that but I don't know about Lenovo.

Gaming headsets seem to cause problems because they are configured differently. There is nothing on your link that shows what physical connections are used or if there are options/configurations as to whether the microphone is part of the headset.

One question I might ask is, can the microphone be disconnected from the headset?
