    Is your PC a laptop?

    Some laptops have a keyboard shortcut key that causes this behavior. It is often caused by accidentally pressing the shortcut key.

    Try one shortcut key at a time and see if the mentioned behavior stops occurring.

    Fn + Space Bar (Hold for 3 seconds)

    Fn + A

    Fn + S

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please give more details.

    Which keys are not working as they should?

    Do the keys not work, or when pressed, do they perform another action?

    Also, what is the manufacturer and model of your computer?

    If you prefer, you can send a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

    Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    I await your reply.

    Check if the keyboard layout is correctly configured.

    1. Open Start and select "Settings > Time & Language > Language";
    2. Under "Preferred languages", select the configured language and click on "Options";
    3. Under "Keyboards", select "Add a keyboard";
    4. Select the keyboard layout for the keyboard you have.
    • You can remove the unsupported layout by selecting it and clicking "Remove".

    If the layout is correct, go back to the previous settings page and select "Keyboard" above "Windows display language".

    Under "Override for default input method", change to your keyboard layout. Then uncheck the option "Let me use a different input method for each app window" if it is checked.
