bluetooth a2dp snk device not showing up in Sound since Windows 11

So i am using the app Bluetooth Audio Reciever to stream audio from my phone to my pc speakers.

In Windows 10 I could go to Sound - Recording and my device would show up, and I could change settings as "Listen to this device" etc.

Since I upgraded to Windows 11, it is not showing up anymore. I can still connect to it, and it outputs to default output device. But it is not listed under recording tab anymore, so I cant change any settings.

The device shows up in Device Manager just fine. It outputs audio just fine. Only problem is it is not listed in Recording tab.

The reason I care is because before, I could use the "Listen to this device" and "Playback through this device" to change output for the device separately, instead of changing deafult output device for the whole system.

I have also tested this on virtual machines and the problem is persistent. Works fine in Windows 10, but not in Windows 11

Found an trick if you go in the registry under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Capture then you have to find the right device the name of the device can be found under properties and then delete the Key {9c119480-ddc2-4954-a150-5bd240d454ad},6 under properties now it will show up under sound settings and will work for example with Voicemeeter

    Thank you for your reply!
I have already tried reinstalling drivers. I am using the windows default drivers since there is no other driver that I am aware of.

As I stated earlier, the device does kind off work, I can get sound playing but cant access the device in the "Recording" interface.

    Windows version:

Devices shows up in Device manager:

In Recording interface, it does not show up.

In Recording interface, it does not show up.

This is the issue exactly. In Windows 10, it was there, in Windows 11, it is not. This makes it impossible to change the properties of the device, principally in my case so I can change the output device. It only outputs to the default device. Whereas in Windows 10, Bluetooth Audio Receiver created a new audio device under the recording tab, which you can check "Listen to this Device" to clone it to the default device. Well, I don't want to clone it to the default device, I want to treat it as an audio driver line-in and have a third-party app (Voicemeeter) do the streaming from "recording device" to my combination of speakers and headphones.
