Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    I suggest doing the following:

(If you have already done a procedure, skip to the next one.)

    Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win...

If it persists, rename the software distribution folders as instructed below:

    1. Open Start and type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt", and select "Run as administrator".
    2. Run the following commands at the Command Prompt one at a time:

    net stop bits

    net stop wuauserv

    net stop cryptsvc

    ren %systemroot%\softwaredistribution softwaredistribution.bak

    ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak

    net start bits

    net start wuauserv

    net start cryptsvc

    1. After all these commands are completed, close the Command Prompt window, restart your computer, and then try to update Windows.

If it persists, use the system file checker to repair possible corrupted or missing system files.

    1. Open Start and type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt", and select "Run as administrator".
    2. Run the following commands at the Command Prompt one at a time:

    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

    sfc /scannow

Note: Pay close attention to the results of the commands. This will help you determine whether the procedure was completed successfully or if there was a problem. If you encounter any problems, let me know the error message that was displayed.

    1. Then restart your PC and see if you can update.

If that doesn't work, don't give up. Let me know, and I will provide other methods.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

windows 11 issue, im getting this on fresh install of 22h2 win11 and all updates went in , but im left with 2 that are hp drivers, with Install error - 0x00000000,, gonna leave it , run disk clean up and it will go away in 24 hrs.

i did same few months ago, no issues, the only difference here is new update KB5030219 installed, so that would be the problem, im sure they will fix it in future update.

New pc i would not be on a forum, that's 1 thing i like about HP, i had ussue like that with new pc,

I did support for 6 years for Dell and if you have an issue like that out of the box, someing serious usually wrong.

i never did a thing, i called them and said i was sending it back,, and they offered me and upgrade to the pc next model up, and it was worth 200 more, i said ok, they sent me the pc took 3 days and i sent the old one back,

i am telling you because i see the guy who last responded telling you to reset the device like it is normal to have to reset a pc out of the Box, 100% no , that is not normal at all, that is messed up.

I found workaround for now, after installing ,install again, download iso from Microsoft and run and install like inplace upgrade, it seems sort it out by doing updates before installation, run disk clean up after to remove previous install
