Hello.
While trying to fix my computer i somehow managed to set a bios admin and power-on password. Altough i didn't forget it is just annoying to see on power-on and was wondering if anyone could help me get rid of it. For the record i have an HP OMEN laptop.

You may try to take out a battery and CMOS battery for ~1/2 hour. The BIOS settings will be reset. Or maybe you laptop has a switch to reset BIOS. Please check a manual or ask HP support.

Resetting the bios physicly isnt really an option for me. I was wondering if you might know how i can see the 8 digit code to reset it.When i get the password wrong all it tells me is the serial number and 2 other options that dont clear the password forever and if i had the code i could maybe clear the password forever.
If you can't tell me no worries i know BIOS password resets arent easy.
