Everytime I launch Starfield I get the error code 0xc00001d. Is there anyway to fix this? I've already reinstalled the game and don't know what to do know. Please help!

Launch days for big games like this often end with much Image ,

    • If not already installed, the latest Nvidia driver may help ? I see they have done some optimising for Starfield in v537.13

    .

It has nothing to do with launch day - Microsoft's XBox app is garbage and often breaks installs or installs things in a way making them unplayable, and the failure impossible to diagnose. I cannot play Starfield, or Forza Horizon 5 due to this nonsense. Microsoft need to pull their finger out and get this **** sorted, and stop leaving people who have nothing to do with Microsoft to try and figure our "solutions".

    Open File Explorer:

    Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\BethesdaSoftworks.ProjectGold_3275kfvn8vcwc\SystemAppData\wgs\

    Delete everything inside the folder.

Go to the location Starfield is installed in and delete the Starfield.exe

Finally, in the XBox app, get it to verify the game files. This fixed it for me.

My solution is to enable the AVX instruction set in the bios, hoping it will be helpful to you

    Hi everyone!

I fixed this issue by going to the BIOS and enabling the AVX feature. It seems that my AVX feature was disable by default. Why don't you try this?

    Let me know!

I've got the same issue, I've uninstalled the game 6 times now and reinstalled it, reset my entire pc, spend 2 days on YouTube and google with no result.
