There is no right-click menu on Bluetooth devices. There is a "three-dot" menu, but it doesn't have a choice for Properties or for Rename.
How do I rename a paired bluetooth device windows 11 pro? (I have multiple sets of ear buds, home, work, etc.)
I am able to pair my Beats Pro headsets. I have three sets, and need to switch during the day. How do I rename the three sets paired with my laptop so they all don't use the same default name?

2024-08-01T04:24:12+00:00 This didn't work for me either. I have the same problem as Caroline with my Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse and my Logitech MX Keys keyboard.
In the properties window, there is no Bluetooth tab, but there is a Connected Device tab, and applying or pressing ok after changing the name results in the "Renaming Device Failed." error. I've been searching for a solution for the past few hours and nothing yet.
I'm running Windows 11 version 23H2. Windows update is up to date. -

I'm Amr, an independent advisor.
To rename paired Bluetooth devices, you can follow these steps:
Use the search feature, and search for the Control panel.
Select View by: Category, then click Hardware and sound.
Click Devices and Printers.
Right-click the device you want to rename, then click Properties.
Rename the Bluetooth device.
Click Apply > OK. Disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth device to refresh the name.
I hope this is helpful. If you require any additional assistance, don't hesitate to respond to this.
Best Regard
Amr
