Win 10 won't update to 21H2 - result 0x8007001f

Hi all,

my Win 10 machine won't update to 21H2. Below you can find the complete setuperr.log from the C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther folder. I can provide more details if needed. I reviewed some sites on how to fix similar error but no advice has really helped me. Since there are quite a lot of errors in the log, it seems too complex for me to look for a solution for each individual error trying to fix and retry the update which takes a long time by itself. So after some days I am posting this here in the hope somebody can point me in the right direction.

    Please rename the following folder:

    C:$WINDOWS.~BT

    to

    C:$WINDOWS.~BT.OLD

    Then, download the Windows 10 22H2 ISO using Media Creation Tool or Rufus.

    • Download the 22H2 ISO using Rufus or Media Creation Tool.
    • Double-click the ISO to mount it to a drive letter.
    • Run Setup.exe.
    • **In the initialscreen, click “Change how Setup downloads updates”, and select “Not at the moment”**
    • Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the upgrade process.

    If that doesn't help, share your setup logs on OneDrive.

    • Open the "C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources" folder.
    • Select the two folders, "Panther" and "Rollback" (if present).
    • Copy the two folders to the desktop and Zip them.
    • Upload the zip file to OneDrive/Dropbox/WeTransfer.
