This one is working from another site.

Make sure you download the sp91903.exe as per below.

Clearly they will still need to fix this, but this should sort you out

    1. Go to "Services"

    1. Find "HP Hotkey UWP Service
    2. Right click and choose "Properties"

    1. Change startup type to "Disabled"

    1. Restart computer

    6.  Install Hotkey Support again from this link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp91501-92000/sp91903.exe

    1. Restart computer
    2. It Works

Hello, I have the same issue after the recent update and its just two of my function buttons (f2 and f3) for brightness. I have HP 840 G5 Elitebook. All other function buttons are working. I have tried the fn+esc to no avail. I have tried rerolling back to the previous drivers as well and it still doesn't work. There is a blank (with just an OK button) window that pops up with a header HP Hotkey Support when f2 and f3 are pressed.

    Hi Сергей,

I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. Looks like your FN keys are no longer working after installing Windows update. No worries, I'll do my best to help you.

If you don't mind me asking have you tried to reach HP Support already regarding this?

Kindly try to follow the steps below:

Please try to press FN key + ESC at the same time and check if the issue persists.

You may try to press them twice and check any changes.

You may also check the link below o how to lock or unlock the FN key.

Please let me know the result. I'll be happy to assist you all the way until it's resolved.

    Thank you,
