Hi VAIRU. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Is this the first time you have encountered this issue? Were you able to connect before? Can you connect to your Home Wi-Fi using the same device?

Try disabling the hotspot, waiting a few minutes, and then re-enabling it. If the issue persists, try to Reset the network settings: Start menu > Settings > Network and Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset. Click Reset now and follow the on-screen instructions.

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions. Thank you

Hi, thanks for the update. I'm sorry it didn't fix the issue. Can you please try your phone hotspot connection to a different device to see if you encounter the same problem? If yes, your mobile connection through the hotspot may be causing the issue. I tried it on my end and noticed that when I registered for a mobile data promotion, it provided limited internet speed through a hotspot connection, resulting in the error 'no data connection' on my laptop. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry if it didn't help.

    1. Try Adjusting the network adapter settings:

Navigate to Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings.

Choose More network adapter options under Related settings.

Right-click the network adapter associated with your mobile hotspot and select Properties.

Access the Sharing tab within the properties window.

Uncheck the box for the "Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection" option.

Click OK and restart your PC.

    1. Reboot the mobile hotspot services:

Press the Windows key + R, type in services.msc, and click OK.

    Locate Windows Mobile Hotspot Service.

Right-click and choose Restart, or Start if it's not already running.

    Thank you.
