Hello.

I want to use my laptop as a second monitor for my PC. And in my PC Win+P menu doesn't who "connect to" option.
I've downloaded "Wireless Display" in Windows Additional Apps and it still doesn't show up.
All my drivers are updated. Dxdiag says: "Miracast: Available, with HDCP".
Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

Hi Бобровский, hope you're doing well. I'm Ian, and I'm happy to help you today.

Go to Settings > System > Projecting to this PC, and check the settings there. Make sure it’s set to “Available everywhere” or "Available everywhere on secure networks"

If it doesn't work, even though Dxdiag shows “Miracast: Available, with HDCP”, it’s possible that your hardware or drivers don’t fully support Miracast. It might be a good idea to reach out to MiracastSupport for further assistance.

Or you might need a wireless display adapter to connect to Miracast.

This is a user-to-user support forum, and I am a fellow user.

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you need anything else.

You may contact the Miracast support team to inquire about compatible devices/hardwares. Typically, an external wireless display adapter is required for this setup.

    Thank you for quick reply.

Settings > System > Projecting to this PC says "This device doesn't support receiving Miracast, so you can't project on it wirelessly".
Even though as I've said dxdiag said: "Miracast: Available, with HDCP"
I've seen similar issues reported here and on Reddit. But couldn't find any resolutions.

    I have a relatively modern motherboard MSI Z-390 A-Pro.
I have a Bluetooth adapter for my PC. Can I use it for Miracast somehow?
