After fully resetting my HP Pavilion X360, its touch screen has stopped working. I checked the HP website which told that all the drivers are up to date on the system. How to I enable the touch again. I have updated the Windows 10 to its latest version too!

Hello Gopal. I did the same, but I did not find any HID-compliant touch screen in the Human Interface Devices. I just see three 'things' listed under Human Interface Devices:

    • GPIO Laptop or Slate Indicator Driver
    • HID-Compliant Wireless Radio Controls
    • HP Wireless Button Driver

Hello there, I'm Gopal an Independent Advisor. I will try my best to help you.

Your touch screen might not respond because it is not enabled or needs to be reinstalled. Use Device Manager to enable and reinstall the touchscreen driver.

    • Press the Windows key + X, and select Device Manager.
    • Select the arrow next to Human Interface Devices and then select HID-compliant touch screen. (There may be more than one listed.)
    • Select the Action tab at the top of the window. Select Disable device or Enable device, and then confirm. If there's more than one HID-compliant touchscreen device listed, perform steps 2–3 for that one too.

If it does not, continue with these steps.

    • Right-click the HID-compliant touchscreen device, and then click Uninstall.
    • Restart the computer to reinstall the touchscreen driver.

Check the hidden device in the Device manager

Click View on the top menu and select Show Hidden Devices to find the driver
