How to get the Rotation Lock option or at least stop the unexpected rotation when using the controller?

I have noticed the rotation lock doesn't exist on some deviced because of manually rotating the screen is a thing. But what if I want to prevent that? I use a controller to game but keeps controlling the mouse and some unwanted actions like screen rotation midgame. Best case scenario would be to have screen lock option to prevent such midgame annoyances since the reason I am able to use the controller like this is through steam, but sadly controllers that are controlled through steam controls the keyboard even though I just want the controller just be a controller, not a mouse or keyboard.

    Hello ,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version (OS Build)? You can check it by pressing Win + X > System > Windows specifications*, click “Copy” and paste it in your next reply*.

Then please check the basic hardware information of your device (computer and your controller). Win + Q to open the search box, type “msinfo32”, then open “System Information”, please take a screenshot of it and attach it to your next reply.

Would you please describe your problem in detail or send me a screenshot/photo of it, and include it in the next reply to help me understand your situation better?

Did you try adjusting the settings for deadzone in the Controller settings in the Steam app? You can refer to the steps on the Deadzone Adjustment for Larger Manual Input Window page.

Also, do you have the same problem when you play the game with your keyboard and mouse instead of controller? Because it can't be ruled out that it's a hardware issue with your controller stick itself.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
