How do you revert to the old Microsoft Photos App

I'm gonna keep this brief, because I am absolutely out of patience and I am out of options.

Do tell me, how the hell can I reverse the update to the old photos application (formerly W10), which auto updated Sep 1 to the new W11 version (it is absolute **** garbage by the way - just thought whoever approved the app might like to know). The new photo editor is so annoying to use now, somewhat because of lag but also because some moron had the gall to say that WHITE is now LIGHT **** GREY!!

I've literally tried every course of action now. Nothing works, including Legacy by the way which uses the new editor (for some **** reason). I need a way to fix this or I'm never buying a Microsoft computer ever again.

Hate the new one, and the Legacy one is no different to the new one! If you get the original one back somehow, please let me know!

I also HATE this update. I want the option to revert back to the original tool layout.

They moved buttons for zoom options to the lower section, effectively shrinking the overall size of the preview window, with no option to switch it back to your previous (preferred) layout. I HATE it so so so so much. Please STOP randomly messing things up. Please at least give the option for users to choose their preferred tool layout as they like.

Unfortunately, the current Microsoft team does not pay any attention to this complaint. No reaction. This is a sign of slow degradation of MS, isn't it?

I'm not very good at computers and downloads, but I'm pretty good at taking pictures, and the older "photos" version was a great app to enhance good shots. New app makes good pictures bad. If you find a way to restore the old app, please contact me. It was so easy and great for a folder full of pics. From there I only needed to edit a couple with more sophisticated apps.

Buy an external HDD and backup all of your important cat pictures 🐈. The best way I know is to.

Boot into recovery environment and choose Reset this p.c. Once it is Reset open ms store right away click on the hamburger menu and choose settings and uncheck get automatic updates. Manually update the ones you want.

I personally do this on my computer because there was an odd update with ms store that made it not work. During setup as well I made two accounts one "local" and one "ms" to login as well just incase windows magically forgets my "ms" account then I can fix it from the local account. Also Write down what you named your p.c it would be listed in your ms account. That way you can just rename it too the same thing to avoid windows digital activation issues due to a mis named p.c.

    Yep Other O.S options are
