My monitor (HP EliteDisplay E242) is displaying like a 90s monitor after fiddling with display settings

I was having some trouble displaying through an HDMI, and while switching up some display settings, suddenly the TV I was connected to isn't registering as connected and my actual monitor looks like this. I think I somehow changed the monitor type, but I don't know how and there's no option to change back (going to where I changed it before shows no other monitor options this time).

There's no drivers to install and nothing is being detected. I also can't find an option to reset display settings.

Thank you for the screenshots, that indicates your Intel UHD 630 graphics drivers are not installed correctly.

Go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and re-install the version of Intel graphics drivers they provide.

IT says that was the issue for my resolution, but the cause of the of the driver malfunction itself was a hardware malfunction

Just in case reinstalling the driver also doesn't work for someone else in the future

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

It looks like either your resolution is not set correctly or the aspect ratio is not set correctly.

    1

Right click your Desktop and select Display Settings

Please provide a screenshot of that settings window

    2

Click your Start Button and open Device Manager

Expand the Display Adapters section, please provide a screenshot of that window.
