Hi,
Kayece here, An Independent advisor and a user just like you. I will be happy to assist you today.
I understand that you have a problem with the download speed on your laptop. Try to perform the Windows auto-tuning first and see if this will help your PC performance. Auto-tuning helps the PC improve the performance of programs.
To check the status of the Auto-Tuning feature on your system, go to the Windows search bar then type CMD or command prompt, and make sure that it is open as administrator. Then type:
netsh interface tcp show global
Older routers, firewalls, and operating systems that are incompatible with the Receive Window Auto-Tuning feature may occasionally result in slow data transfer or a loss of connectivity when the Receive Window Auto-Tuning feature is activated for HTTP traffic. Users can experience a slowdown in performance when this happens.
To disable Windows AutoTuning, run the following command:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
To enable Windows AutoTuning, run the following command:
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

I hope this is helpful. If you have any additional questions and need more help, please let me know and I will gladly assist you.
