Error Code (0x80244022) For Windows 11 Update And Any Microsoft Application

Hi,

I get the error code (0x80244022) when I try to install Windows 11, version 23H2, and also any other Microsoft application it. I can't install the Xbox app, or the minecraft launcher because of that error.

Note: I did get a new external hard drive to replace one that had broken and all of this started after that. I also tried most of the other fixes others have found and none of them work. (change date and time, use troubleshooter, running inetcpl.cpl and changing the proxy stuff, and installing updates manually all don't work).

Hi, good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

Looking back from older threads with the same error 0x80244022, this may be a Microsoft Server problem.

There are several reports from other users experiencing the same issue. I recommend reporting this through the Feedback Hub app to notify Microsoft.

I recommend waiting a few hours and checking every now and then to see if it resolves itself.
