How do I share Minecraft with family members

I know this question has been asked before by others but I can not seem to get this to work. I purchased Minecraft using my account and would like to share it with my daughters account. I have a family set up, with myself and my daughters accounts. I followed the steps here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/blogs/henrikn/sharing-windows-10-store-apps-with-your-family but this does not work. I signed in to the Microsoft Store with my account and attempt to install Minecraft. Every time I try this it gets stuck on "Acquiring License" then changes to "Something happened on our end". If I use her account, I am able to download and install Minecraft but at the Minecraft Launcher screen it wants me to purchase it again. If I sign into my account in the Launcher then she is able to play, but it is as my account. Not her account. I read everywhere that this is possible but I can not seem to get this to work. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply. Situations like this really make me miss the days of physical media. Walk into a store and get a physical copy of a game that anyone in the home could use. Now we have to buy multiple copies of the same software for every member of the house. Some real progress we've made...

    That is because you sadly can not share games on PC Joshua :/

    There is one workaround but does not always work. You need to log in at the MS store with the account that owns the game and then log in at the xbox app with your daughter´s account
