PowerReg Scheduler

I am using Windows 10 64 bit.

I found PowerReg Scheduler in my Startup menu. From what I have read, it can be malware. Trying to do a search leads me to almost nothing. Does anyone know if this is in fact bad for my system, and if so, how do I remove it. It appears there are many components to it.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

PowerReg Schedular is not usually malware, it is used by many software companies to check the licences for their software.

Open Task Manager, then select the Startup tab, do you see that process listed there?

If you do, right click it and select 'Open File Location'.

What is the reported location of that file?

Thank you for that information, that is just the location of the Windows startup folder, if you go into that folder and right click the icon for that process in there and select 'Open File Location', what folder does that then go to?
