    Hi Dave,

    I have re-installed the version and checked for BIOS updates and, unfortunately it hasn't worked and it looks exactly the same.

    Thank you for the screenshot, all device drivers are correctly installed, since the fingerprint scanner has never worked correctly on your laptop since you go it, most likely, there is a hardware issue, it would be best to contact Lenovo support directly on their website, they may need to provide you with a replacement device.

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    The best first option would be to go to the support page for your laptop on the Lenovo website, then from there, download and manually re-install the version of Fingerprint scanner drivers they provide and while there, check for any BIOS update that may be available and not installed on your laptop.
