I have re-installed the version and checked for BIOS updates and, unfortunately it hasn't worked and it looks exactly the same.

2023-11-17T12:02:53+00:00 Thank you for the screenshot, all device drivers are correctly installed, since the fingerprint scanner has never worked correctly on your laptop since you go it, most likely, there is a hardware issue, it would be best to contact Lenovo support directly on their website, they may need to provide you with a replacement device.

The best first option would be to go to the support page for your laptop on the Lenovo website, then from there, download and manually re-install the version of Fingerprint scanner drivers they provide and while there, check for any BIOS update that may be available and not installed on your laptop.
