Why is my Fortnite running low even though I got a good pc

1. Check if you have any available restore points then perform a system restore. As there might be an update or changes in the system that is causing the FPS drop. Use System Restore

2. Try to reinstall and update these device driver graphics, audio, and chipset. Download them directly at the Manufacturer's support website and install them. Do not use any driver updater software to download the latest drivers.

Clean and install both AMD and Nvidia graphics drivers.

Run the application from Safe mode.

Select Clean and restart

Once the drivers are uninstalled

Install the latest Graphics Card driver

3. Disable unnecessary applications programs that are running from the startup

Press CTRL+ALT+Delete

Then click on Task Manager

Then Navigate to Startup Tab

( from there you can Disable unnecessary applications running from the startup)

4. Perform a Clean Boot to disable unnecessary startup and services.

5. If you have any third-party antivirus or cleaners installed. Fully uninstall them using their removal tool software.

Restart your computer

6. Run "system file checker" to scan and repair corrupted system files

Open the command prompt as an administrator.

Then type in each command and press Enter.

sfc /scannow

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

restart your computer.

7. This will upgrade and repair your system without losing your files and apps.

Then choose "ISO"

Once it is downloaded click or open the file using the Windows Explorer

Then open or click "setup" to run.

8. If that didn't work. Check if there are any installed power management or power control utility manufaturer software. Ensure that any power saving is disabled.

I’d like to add that it use to be Abel to run consistently at 200 but now it wont and my gpu is an rtx 3060

hey man did you find any solution? because i have the same problem

installed fortnite today ... well 6 fps ... cant play on a pretty new PC, 32 gb ram, i5-13600kf , amd 7800 xt 16gb.

tryed all things of stuff uninstalled new install verify game files check on high textures... and running the game at lowest possibly settings in grafic... still 6 fps
