Thanks for the screenshot.
It is configured correctly.
It seems to be a physical problem with the internal speakers.
I suggest you consult a technician you trust or the manufacturer's authorized support to check the internal speakers.

Ever since installing a Windows update about a year ago on my ASUS Zenbook UM433I I have had constant issues with no sound coming from the internal speakers. Sound works fine through plugging in headphones, Bluetooth and HDMI. Sometimes the sound works on the laptop speakers then it will suddenly stop working at all for days or even weeks. It's driving me mad! I have tried reinstalling the Realtek audio drivers multiple times and nothing works. I have also turned off audio enhancements as suggested by people.
This time it has already been 10 days since it was last working.

Thanks for the clarifications.
In your case, you need to install the Realtek driver provided by Asus specifically for your laptop. Drivers provided from other sources may not work correctly.
You also need to install the Realtek Audio Console application to gain access to all the audio features that your PC can provide.
I suggest reinstalling the audio driver as instructed below.
Uninstall the current driver, restart your computer, and install the driver you downloaded.
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/Image/Dri...
You should be able to uninstall the current Realtek driver in "Settings > Apps > Installed apps/Apps & features". It should be named "Realtek Audio Driver" or "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver".

As for Realtek Audio Console, install using the Microsoft Store.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.
When you reinstalled the Realtek driver, did you let Windows install it automatically, or did you use an installer to install it manually?
If you used an installer, where did you download it from?
You can leave the link to the download page if you want.
Also, send a screenshot of your system information.
(I only found the model UM433IQ on the Asus support website. )
Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.
I await your reply.
