Where to Find and Install mfc100u.dll and MSVCR100.dll files

HI

Having issues install Epson printer software. I keep getting the following messages:

"The code execution cannot proceed because mfc100u.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Latest Support Downloads for X64 as I have a ARM64 bit computer obtained via:

https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

Whatever I try as a fix I keep getting the above error messages. For information I have sfc /scannow in the command line in an effort to fix any obvious issues but this task did not deliver any obvious positive results.

Suggestions on how to fix the above issues will be welcomed.

    Please try the following VC+ redist version.

    Hi

    Thank you for your response. Its much appreciated by me. I've tried several things, including your suggestions, but the outcome remains the - a non-functioning scanner when using my computer. I've decided to give up using the computer and use my phone to connect to the printer because it seems to be able access the full functionality of the device. This double up on the time it takes to do any work but fortunately I do not scan documents, or fax them very often. (I'm not impressed with Epson's customer support and recommend people to use other printer brands).

    Thanx for the suggestion. All done but the result remains the same. I have also downloaded and installed the Studio pack for ARM64-bit computers. Furthermore I also downloaded both files and made sure that they are located in the Windows32 sub-folder and similarly for the SYSWOW64 sub-folder both located in "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" path and still left generating the same error message each time I try installing the printer software from Epson.

    Cześć. Miałam też ten sam problem ze skanerem Epson. Siedziałam i udało mi się znaleźć problem na jakimś forum:

    Problem MSVCR100.dll - brak Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 | TechFormator

    Okazało się, że epson ma wersje x86 (co nie było widoczne). Po zainstalowaniu :

    Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update from Official Microsoft Download Center

    w wersji x86 pomimo, że system mam w wersji x64 - zadziałało i mogę skanować.

    Na komputerze mam teraz dwie wersje zainstalowane

    Mam nadzieję, że ci też to pomoże
