How do you access the setup.exe file?
Device manager unresponsive, and then doesnt close.
Trying to open the device manager because I need to update my sound drivers because their broken (an whole different post).
The device manager just becomes unresponsive, and then after a bit, the "not responsive" message shows up, and then, if I
press to close it, it just stays there.
I've tried waiting, just stays there, still.
I don't know anything, but my biggest suspicion, is that it cant close because the Microsoft management console is trying to close itself (in the not responsive message, the "Microsoft management console is not responding"), and causing an unescapable loop that makes it stay open, but I don't know how to fix it.
This happened after my computer had an forced shutdown during the latest update, and maybe corrupted the management console file?

2023-11-19T20:31:45+00:00 I've done that, and it finished the restoring program. The device manager is still not responding, and still doesn't close. What should I do?

Try so called repair install. Сreate Windows installation media as described at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo... but do not boot from it, run setup.exe file from running Windows instead. This will keep all your files, apps and settings.
